We collect information you provide directly to us, and limited information collected automatically when you use the Site.
- Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, company name, job role, message content, and — if you apply for a role — your resume/CV, LinkedIn/portfolio URL and any other information you choose to include in a job application.
- Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate location derived from your IP address (used, among other things, to select a default site language).

2. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries submitted through our Contact form and route them to the relevant team (for example, sales enquiries).
- To process job applications submitted through our Careers page, including sharing resumes internally with hiring teams.
- To send newsletter communications to subscribers who opt in, and to allow unsubscribing at any time.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal basis for processing (EEA/UK visitors)
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for example, newsletter sign-up or non-essential cookies); performance of steps you request prior to entering into a contract (for example, responding to a sales enquiry); our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site; and compliance with legal obligations.

UpperThrust is based in India and serves clients internationally, including in the United States, European Union, United Kingdom and the GCC region. Personal information may be processed in India or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers of personal information out of the EEA/UK.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to enquiries, evaluate applications, comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations, and resolve disputes. Job application materials are generally retained for a reasonable period to allow consideration for future roles unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

We maintain administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information, consistent with our ISO 27001:2022-aligned information security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal). 9. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
